Hello! I’m running into problem. When I put any translucent material on any skeletal mesh, it disappear completely. If the SKM is viewed outside of scene in blueprint etc., it shows, but on scene it’s not showing. Static meshes works completely fine.
dude show your’s properties, we don’t read your mind… goshhh
Hey @PataS_33! Welcome to the forums!
This is bizarre! Make sure you have saved everything you can as that can especially mess with meshes. Make sure the transparency is not set to maximum, and as PoYo said, show us some details! It’s hard for us to gauge what’s going on without them.
Get back to us soon!
Okay, so I realized problem happens when I enable translucency type Ray Tracing in post process volume. With raster translucency the material appears but it’s low quality of course…
I tried changing other post process settings (GI, Reflection method… In default Im using GI Lumen and Screenspace reflections), changing glass material settings, looking for some RT material options and no success. Support ray tracing on skeletal mesh details is ticked.
When I turn on raytracing reflections method in post process, the opaque materials on skeletal meshes works normally and do raytraced reflections. Problem is only with translucent ones. They just disappear.
