Skeletal mesh shading

helllo everybody

i’m working at a VR projects where part of the forniture needs to be interactive

i created skeletal mesh with the door opening / drawer sliding anim and the programmers made a blueprint for interaction

problem is the skeletal mesh are shaded in a totally inconsistent way, their material is the same as the surrounding elements (see arrows)

i can understand little differences between static, lightmapped mesh and dynamic ones, but as you can see the result is waaay too bad

can you please help me (obviously i’m on tight schedule)

cheers

i’ve fixed the Physic Asset for the Skeletal mesh and rebuild the lights, but no luck, the shaders look very different… is there an Unreal diagnostic tool to help troubleshooting this kind of problem?
