Devices

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce
Launch an affected Fortnite Creative / UEFN island.
Eliminate creatures configured to drop items through an Elimination Manager device.
Observe that the majority of spawned items are completely invisible on the ground.
Walk over the location of an invisible item. It can still be collected, and the pickup animation appears.
Manually drop the same item from the player’s inventory.
Observe that the manually dropped item is clearly visible, unlike the item spawned through the Elimination Manager.

The issue also occurs with Elimination Managers configured to have a 100% item drop chance.

Expected Result

Items spawned through Elimination Manager devices should be visible on the ground, just as they are when manually dropped by a player.

Observed Result

The majority of items spawned through Elimination Manager devices are invisible while on the ground, despite being successfully spawned and remaining collectible. Their pickup animations continue to function normally.

Manually dropped items are visible and function as expected.

Platform(s)

PC, Xbox and Mobile

Additional Notes

Evidence of Regression

I have been developing and testing this island daily for approximately one month. Throughout this period, items spawned through Elimination Manager devices were consistently visible and functioning correctly.

The problem appeared following the recent Fortnite update.

To rule out recent changes to my island, I launched an older private island version dated 17 October 2026, more than two weeks before this report.

I can confirm that the items were displaying correctly when this older version was originally tested.

However, launching that same older private version again on 2 November 2026 reproduces the exact same invisible-item issue.

The older and current versions contain substantially different island configurations, yet both now exhibit the problem.

This provides strong evidence of a regression affecting Elimination Manager item visibility following the Fortnite update, rather than an issue introduced by recent island development.

Gameplay Impact

This issue significantly disrupts gameplay because players cannot see or locate the majority of items dropped by eliminated creatures.

It affects a core gameplay mechanic that previously functioned correctly and is currently preventing the release of my island.

Request

Please investigate this apparent regression affecting the visibility of items spawned by Elimination Manager devices across PC, Xbox and mobile.

The items themselves remain collectible and their pickup animations function correctly. The issue is specifically that items spawned through Elimination Managers are not being visually rendered on the ground, whereas the same items dropped manually by players display correctly.
