Simple Object Animation FBX Import needs to come back

That wonderful warning on the old fbx importer that said imported object had no binding so it set one up on frame zero was absolutely magical.
And with 5.7, EVEN THAT IS NOW BROKEN. Even on objects already imported from a previous project. As if object root motion is now deleted and gone. (No, turning root motion on doesn’t work)

So how the hell do I import a simple box animation, phone, chair, table, plate, etc. (ANYTHING Cinematically INTERACTABLE from Blender) when absolutely NOTHING works anymore?
Am I supposed to make a full skeleton for each and every object with weights?
Is that a ■■■■ joke!? THAT’S RIDICULOUS!

I can go back to 5.5 and 5.6 and simple object animation import works just fine as long as I use the old fbx importer.

Please Fix the fbx importers and add the binding feature to the new one so it’s not a useless and constantly crashing importer compared to the old one!

Yet another potentially cool as hell UE update that I started a new project on only to stumble at the ■■■■ starting gate because you broke an essential workflow part of it yet again. Massive amount of hours wasted setting up this project only to fail at such a simple test that’s been getting worse every time.
Now I gotta set it all up again in 5.6.
