Summary
I am making a custom landscape material. It is very basic right now. As soon as I add a third identical duplicate of the 2 materials to the layer stack, the level will not load to play anymore. The error message say “unable to validate”, and in the message log something about disallowed assets, even though the additional 3d material is the same as the first 2, except for the naming ( “Mat_A; Mat_B;_Mat_C”).
Steps to Reproduce
Duplicate Material “Mat_C” in the landscape master material, rename it and all of it’s input parameters accordingly ( to “Mat_C”, “texture_size_C” etc., plug it into the landscape layer blend node, apply, and with the material instance of the landscape material assigned to the landscape, launch session.
The material works perfectly in the editor, it is not resource intensive.
Expected Result
Since to new operations or functions have been added, just a working material duplicated, the level should load into session just as it does with only 2 materials in the layer blend node.
Observed Result
error message “unable to play, validation failed”.
