I was wondering if there was a way to create a material that I can attach to the sprite materials that allow my characters to have a silhouette when they become occluded by a translucent sprite or object that has a higher z target (as to block the player the view of his character.)
an example would be something like this
I tried the example found on tom looman’s site but it seems that its meant for non-paper2d applications as I was unable to create anything useful or working.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience messing with this or enough experience to prototype something quickly and can help me learn how to as well.
