Hi,
many people request a sharpening post-process filter for the Unreal 4 Engine. Me too. Can you give us a release date for this function? This sharpenig filter will increase the image quality drastically and will give us a more photorealistic look.
This can be done with a postprocess material, but it wouldn’t be as optimized as it would be if epic implemented it as a postprocess volume setting. I implemented the unsharp mask method using a few nodes in the material editor.
I would like to give it a shot with this method, but unfortunately, I cannot make out nodes names and values from your screenshot. Could you please re-post a higher resolution version, would be much appreciated.
I would like to jump in with the same question , I can’t seem to find such project . I tried the Realistic rendering from Epic , and I could not find post process materials at all .
If someone could be kind enough to link to such a material or project , that would be great
