Sharpen shadows on a direct static light

Can anybody help me with this ugly and sharpen shadows casting by my sun?


By the way, taking a screnshot is the only way to make a static render, or is there another way to do it.

Increase lightmap resolution of the floor and the walls(decrease the value if it they are BSP’s.)
