I’m facing an issue with shadows in Unreal Engine. At a distance of about 10000 cm from the camera, shadows appear noticeably lighter, creating a sharp line that separates the lighter area from the darker shadow. The darker shadow, which is closer to the camera, appears to be the correct color. This issue persists even after rendering.
I’ve uploaded a screenshot that clearly shows the problem. When a mesh is positioned at this distance, part of it falls within the close range to the camera (darker shadow) and part of it falls outside that range (lighter shadow), resulting in this sharp line between light and dark shadows.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
