Sharder compilng really slow UE5

So basicly every time i change something my unreal editor goes numb and has to complete like 5000 sharders but unreal only uses about 20% cpu and it takes ages to do its job. I am using a Intel Core i7 11th gen along with the 3070 so i dont think this should be a problem for my pc.

Control-R to turn off real-time rendering in the viewport.

Minimize Unreal so it doesn’t have to paint to the desktop.

Make sure only the materials that need real-time updates have that enabled in the editor, and click back to the not-real-time-rendering viewport to save cycles.

What makes it need 5000 shaders is what you are putting into it, I cannot comment on that, but otherwise the above tricks still work from 4.26 to at least make it go faster. And shaders compile on the CPU so they can be RUN on the GPU. They don’t compile on the GPU, but some lighting stuff can if you choose to precomute it.

Otherwise, productively pass the time. Work on something else in your project or whatnot. If I need to wait, I do summons in Elden Ring… ¬_¬

I found the problem, after many hours i foud that it only created ONE sharder compiler and the reason for that was becouse of omse “xge controller” plugin. this basicly used an other software to compile the sharders and it only used one cpu core. When i disabled this my sharderss where done in no time.
