Okay so, I am trying to learn unreal engine and creation of environments however I am running into some issues with the shallow body river simulation.
I have sculpted a river, started the simulation of water and it follows the riverbed really well, I needed a little time sculpting to finish the bed how I wanted but it works without spillage.
After finishing said work I have decided to bake the water, no issues:
However, I decided to learn how to also use objects inside the water so I can simulate the collisions better which does require me to use the Water Component with Baked Sim rendering mode. The thing is, that mode for some reason only renders foam and I am not sure why.
Things I tried:

Going into a demo scene, the rendering works in there

Creating a copy of the scene and placing the river again (nothing changes)
The other issue I am facing is not being able to combine lake into the river, I have pretty much no idea why that isn’t working either
Overall, I would rather not have to create a new scene as I have spent a while creating terrain and working on PCG trees, foliage, paths, rocks, ground, etc. and I really want to not change my landscape components.
