Shadows of wind movement don't move when using Raytraced shadows

As soon as I activated raytraced shadows the shadow of animated foliage doesn’t move. With Lumen it works fine. How can I fix this?

Lumen doesn’t have a direct shadowing method, could you clarify a bit on what you mean?

Or do you mean lumen GI reacts when shadows do not?

I have some plants with an animated wind effect, so the leaves move in the wind. With Lumen shadows activated, the shadow that the leaves cast also moves as they should. But as soon as I activate raytraced shadows, the animated leaves still move, but the shadows don’t. It’s like the shadow is baked. The shadow only changes if I move the whole tree, but it doesn’t react to the movement of the leaves.

Lumen shadows, do you mean DF shadows, or VSMs?

By default RT shadows doesn’t evaluate WPO. You’ll need to tell each mesh you want to have a dynamic shadow to evaluate world position offset in their details panel.

I mean VSMs.

I activated ‘Evaluate World Position Offset in ray tracing’ but it still doesn’t work.

I don’t know about the warning regarding PCG settings because I don’t use PCG.

I meant how it got brought up in the thread; I was just asking you to check how your WPO was affecting your scene via the ray tracing debug views.
