Shadown removal / light increase with PP

Hey all
I’ve got an NVG mode i’m trying to put together and I can’t get it working quite right. Whenever I activate the NVG mode, the shadows remain dark and you can’t see in them clearly which is not how normal NVG’s work. Basically I just need shadows to be removed or to be lightened up in post process. Can anyone help at all please? Pics below of code.

Reduce the contrast with a ‘cheap contrast’ and increase the brightness by multiplying ( with a small float like 1.2 )…

Hey
Cheers for responding. Can you show me how I would impliment this please? I’m not the best at materials in UE4 still and am still practising.

Hey there
Managed to get it working. Yes I have an MI of the material to control the parameters. Thank you for your help

Like this ( the texture coming in from the left is meant to be your stuff up to plugging it into the emissive ):

So you can see the contrast and brightness are parameters which only really have meaning when you make a material instance from this.

Tell me you do…
