Hi, I’ve been trying to improve shadow quality and I’ve been having a problem. To improve the shadow quality I upped the light map resolution and it seems to have worked but only for some shadows. Even though I have upped the resolution of everything equally some of my shadows remain blocky. I am attaching examples. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
If you set the same resolution for every mesh, that’s why. You organize lightmap resolutions depending on the size of your meshes. The bigger the mesh, the larger lightmap resolution you need.
Ah, now that you mention it, it is only occurring on the larger meshes. Let’s see…
