shadow disappears when the camera too far

Can I keep the shadow not being disappears when the camera look from a very long distance (say 20000 Unreal unit)

Are you using the “Far Shadow” option on your meshes and source light? If not, these are specifically designed for the purpose you are needing and may be what you are looking for.

Actually not really work… I am switching to path trace to get the shadow to come back :sweat_smile:

Hello!
One more way to really increase shadow distance is to increase “Bounds Scale” in static mesh details. Default is 1, 10 works for me. You can even make it above 10, but I didn’t really test if it makes any changes or is it the same as 10.
