Shadow artifacts


after building the lights for my island I got some weird shapes on a few buildings.
I’m not sure what is causing this? Is it a lightmap issue, a render issue, maybe some settings are to low/off?

In some places I have beautiful shadows, and in other places they are weird like the screenshots.

Your lightmap UV’s aren’t setup correctly. For each mesh, you need to have a second UV channel for the lightmap. It must only use the 1x1 UV space, and it can’t have anything overlapping. There are some automatic tools for making UV’s, but they often give bad results where there are too many seams and you can get better UV’s by doing it yourself.
