Shader complexity for planar trees

I am using trees in my environment for vr. the tree is made mainly of planers because the manually modelled trees were flickering. Now weirdly the shader complexity for all planar trees in white and pink. is there a way to transition it to greener side.

I think this is a side effect of moving from shader model 5 t 6. The shader complexity view is off by a factor…
