Summary
There is currently a critical issue affecting the Creative 1.0 Star Wars templates where standard building is severely restricted. Depending on the material players have equipped, the game blocks them from placing certain structural pieces.

Steps to Reproduce
Boot up Fortnite Creative.
Load a fresh island utilizing the Star Wars Template in 1.0 (or jump into any published 1.0 Star Wars map).
Try to build (Wall, Ramp, Floor, Cone) while swapping between Wood, Stone/Brick, and Metal.
Notice that certain pieces simply refuse to place depending on the active material.
Expected Result
Players should have zero issues placing walls, floors, ramps, and cones across all three material types (Wood, Brick, Metal).
Observed Result
The game actively prevents piece placement based on the chosen material:
Wood: Only Ramps and Walls work (Floors and Cones are blocked).
Stone/Brick: Completely disabled (Cannot place any pieces at all).
Metal: Only Walls work (Floors, Ramps, and Cones are blocked).
Platform(s)
Universal / All Platforms. I replicated this myself on PC, and I’ve had multiple console players report the exact same behavior. Since it is baked into the 1.0 template, it affects everyone regardless of hardware.

Additional Notes
This is causing massive problems for creators with combat-focused maps. Because building is disabled, players are instantly leaving, which is tanking my map’s playtime, retention, and concurrent player counts.
To ensure my map file wasn’t just corrupted, I ran some tests:
Blank Island Test: Created a totally blank 1.0 Star Wars island. The building glitch was still present.
Other Creators’ Maps: Jumped into several published Star Wars maps made by other people. They all suffered from the exact same building restrictions.
This is clearly a global template issue and requires an urgent fix so our maps can function normally again!
