Several problems with prop-o-matic pistol and prop-o-matic manager device

Summary

Hello,
I have several problems with prop-o-matic pistol and prop-o-matic manager device:

  1. When a player exits disguise, the player gains collision (even if it is disabled in the island settings). This collision breaks player movement, causing the character to get stuck, slide, shake, and be unable to climb ledges or move properly.

  2. When manually pinging a prop via the function “PingPlayerProp” or “PingPlayerProps” in editor/verse, only the player being pinged can hear the ping sound.

  3. The prop ping cooldown is broken. Instead of a shared timer for all players, each player has their own timer causing the countdown display in the HUD to conflict within the same line and ping sounds aren’t playing at the same time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Collision Issue After Exiting Disguise:
    Equip the Prop-O-Matic Pistol.
    Transform into a prop.
    Exit the disguise.
Attempt to move and climb obstacles.

  2. Ping Sound Only Audible to Pinged Player:
Use the “PingPlayerProp” or “PingPlayerProps” function via Verse or the Prop-O-Matic Manager device.

  3. Prop Ping Cooldown Timer Conflict:
Enable prop pings with a cooldown timer in the prop-o-matic manager device.
Have multiple players in the session disguised as props.

Expected Result

  1. When exiting a disguise, the player should retain the same collision settings as before transforming. Movement should not be affected.
  2. When pinging a prop, all players should hear the ping sound, not just the targeted player.
  3. The prop ping cooldown should be synchronized across all players, with a single shared countdown display and simultaneous sound playback.

Observed Result

  1. After exiting disguise, the player gains glitched collision, causing movement issues such as getting stuck, sliding, shaking, and being unable to climb ledges.
  2. When pinging a prop via the PingPlayerProp or PingPlayerProps function, only the pinged player hears the sound.
  3. Each player has their own separate cooldown timer, leading to conflicting countdowns in the HUD and unsynchronized ping sounds.

I am also experiencing the same issues described with the Prop-O-Matic Pistol and the Prop-O-Matic Manager Device. These bugs occur in all forms of weapon usage, regardless of the context.

  • The collision issue after exiting disguise happens in all situations, causing the character to get stuck, slide, shake, and have movement difficulties.
  • After respawning, the character returns to normal and no longer experiences these movement issues.
