I am trying to get my light maps to work. I double click on mesh to bring up editor, I then switch UV Set from 0 to 1, hit save and close editor. Next time I go in there it is switched back to 0. Is this an error or am I in wrong spot to assign a UV to be light map?
Where are you setting UV from 0 to 1? Is it in UV Channel dropdown menu? That’s just a preview in Mesh editor, and won’t assign a UV to be light map.
If you’re looking to assign a UV to be light map, you’ll need to look under Static Mesh Settings in Details panel. Light Map Coordinate Index property is what you want to adjust.
