It seems that the “Set Rest Collection” node is crashing UE every time it’s used with a different than the Original Rest collection. Is there any fix for this?
I also have this same problem - Crashes every time I try to do this - or add a geometry collection componant with a rest collection set - did you resolve this?
Can confirm, trying the same, editor crashes, 5.2.1
Don’t have any solution, though.
Haven’t found a fix but a workaround. I’m just placing the geometry collections in different actors, then instead of setting new rest collections I set new actors. Works fine but is a bit more work.
Also having this issue. Not good at all.
Have not checked myself yet but according to the 5.3.1 hotfix notes this has been fixed as an issue
Tried to do this in 5.4 and its still crashing. Haven’t tried 5.3.1
Also getting this issue. Somehow the physics proxy of some other random actor gets fetched, which doesn’t have a geometry collection at all. That’s what seems to be causing the crash.
