Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a new project.
- Right click in the Content Browser - Animation - Level Sequence.
- Create either a master sequence, an animation sequence, or a “shot_[number]” (as per the official “Cinematics with Sequencer” Youtube tutorial).
- Click the green “+Track” button - “Actor to Sequence”, and choose something from the scene.
- Add a keyframe anywhere on the timeline (for example, for the “Transform” track).
- Hold Ctrl and zoom in using the mouse scroll on that keyframe until you can’t zoom in any more.
- Try to zoom out or pan around the timeline.
Result:
You can’t zoom out or pan around the timeline any more. Only if you double click, which brings you back to 100% zoom level, or, if you zoom in close enough until the screen goes dark but you don’t zoom in one extra mouse wheel increment.
Expected Result:
You should be able to zoom out freely. It happens to me during this root motion “workaround”: Cinematics with Sequencer: Subscene Animation 2 | 07 | v4.12 Tutorial Series | Unreal Engine - YouTube (using UE 4.18.2), but I noticed it happens anywhere else during that tutorial, and inside of any “breadcrumb” (Master, Shot_04 or Animation). It’s weird having it lock up like that.
