UI/Tools

Steps to Reproduce

Import two audio files, one clearly larger than the other one
Create a level sequence and open it
Drag the large file into it so it creates an audio track
Right click it and replace its audio in its properties with the smaller track

Expected Result

Length inside the sequence adjusts so that the end is now where the new audio track ends, not the old one.

Observed Result

Audio length remains the same (from old audio) and audio track now loops

FORT-965544 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

Want to also mention that since there is no snapping behavior to snap the end part of the track to the new audio end, this makes it really difficult to work with. Also removing the audio track altogether instead of replacing messes up the position and any blending that exists with other tracks, so that’s not an ideal solution either

As a workaround, you could right click on the audio section and choose Edit→Auto Size and that should resize the section to the length of the new audio file.
