为解决复杂场景中物体选择困难的问题,几乎所有软件都提供多种选择高亮方案:Maya 显示选中物体线框,Houdini 和 3ds Max 采用填充色高亮。

但在 UE 中,当重叠物体过多时选择极易出错。如图所示,无法确认右侧小球是否被选中,极易导致误操作。实际项目场景复杂数百倍,建议在 Project Settings > Selection Outline 下增设选择高亮功能,实现如右图所示效果。

It is recommended to add a selection highlighting feature.

To solve the problem of difficulty in selecting objects in scenes with numerous complex objects, in almost all software, there are various methods for selection highlighting, such as Maya displaying a wireframe for selected objects, and Houdini and 3ds Max using fill colors.

However, in UE, when there are too many overlapping objects, selection becomes extremely difficult. As shown in the image, it’s unclear whether the small ball on the right is selected, leading to accidental deselection. In real-world projects, which are hundreds of times more complex, it is recommended to add a selection highlighting feature below Project Settings > Selection Outline to achieve a similar effect to that on the right.
