Seeing post process effects without being in the volume

I recall seeing a thread a while ago where a dev showed how he could view the effects of a post processing volume without being within the radius of the bounds. IIRC he made a small volume that desaturated everything within it, without affecting anything outside the borders. I can’t seem to find any information on how to do that, does anyone know?

Most likely you have seen this.

When you have a post process volume there’s a checkbox for Unbounded which will determine whether it affects only what’s within the volume or if it affects the entire level.

Yep that’s the one! I thought it was a setting in the volume or something.

I tried that, but it doesn’t achieve what I’m looking for. The link @Deathrey provided demonstrates the effect I want.
