Seams when clothing is added to Metahuman Creator

Hi, guys.

I have recently had an issue arise in my metahuman clothing pipeline.
Clothing that has no visible seams when viewed at the mesh or material level or in the viewport suddenly develops seams along the UV boundaries once added as a wardrobe item to metahuman creator.
these seams remain post assembly.

I have spent several days troubleshooting possible solutions and triple checked every step of the process from modelling phase to baking in substance painter and every step of the way in Unreal and narrowed it down to the seams appear the moment the garment is added to a metahuman in creator and will not go away post assembly.
I have not experienced this issue in the past and am at a bit of a loss as to what to do next.
This is also my first time posting an issue on the forum so apologies in advance if I am missing any details needed and please do ask for anything needed to demonstrate to issue beyond the screenshot I have provided.

It’s worth noting that these seams remain even if I remove the textures from the material so it is most likely related to the mesh itself and possible recalculation of the normals or tangents once it is added the metahuman creator.

I have nearly 60 clothes I have created for Fab on sale and I have not encountered this until recently throughout all my production work and I am unable to produce more content until this issue is resolved as I am concerned about passing it onto customers and don’t want to release anything that has issues like this.
It seems to have appeared to varying degrees on nearly all of my garments, I am using 5.6 but have tested in 5.8 and get the exact same issue.

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer.
