SciFi Weapons Pack - Tracers

Hey guys,

Has anybody got the tracers out of the SciFi package to work with a hitscan weapon system? I for some reason cant figure it out.

  1. It seems like the effect spawns 90 degrees offset the wrong way from the rotation of the muzzle
  2. It doesn’t move forward (i.e. no velocity). Since its a tracer I would think it would be build using beam data but it is not.

Has anybody successfully implemented these that can help me in the right direction?

Anybody worked with these tracers?

You need to make an actor blueprint. In it you can put the tracer particle, adjust its rotation add velocity and whatever else you need.

Then when you shoot, spawn this bkueprint at your muzzle location

will try that. Ty.
