Scene Capture 2D - Replace Alpha with Solid Color

I’ve never worked with scene capture components before but the setup seems straight forward however not getting the results I want. I’m simply trying to capture an actor for use in a user widget but I want to replace the alpha channel with a solid color. With some experimentation I’ve been able to get the capture -> render target -> material -> widget to display the item’s mesh but I can’t replace the background with a solid color. My current setup shows nothing but transparency at run-time.
