Scanning my 30M polygons breakfast with Reality Capture + UE 5.1 (Lumen + Nanite)

Hello everyone!
In this project I started testing Reality Capture with Unreal 5.1 + lumen.
And thanks to nanite, I could import my 3d scan (30M polygons) without sacrificing performance.
Now I’m working on an animation + making of. I’ll be posting here soon

Hope you like it.
Thanks!

Greetings @andersonrohr !

Wow! One can only marvel at the awesomeness of the technologies available to us now! This is the best thing since sliced bread! (ba-dum-tss :drum:) I’m here all night! LOL!

I must say that your scan is so realistic in its glorious 30M polygons, that the lines between reality and virtual began to blur. Splendid work! Looking forward to your next post with the animation! What apparatus did you use for the scan?

I’m so glad you liked! Thank you!!

I shooted in RAW with a Sony a6400 24MP.

This might sound weird but the scanned version looks more real to me. :joy: Guess it’s an expression of the artist’s skill  Terrific work @andersonrohr!
