Is it possible to save a foliage layout? We’re using the foliage tools to place lots of trees on a big piece of terrain (just a static mesh, not Landscape for now). The layout is saved in the level, yes, but what if we needed to rebuild the level… how do we replicate that layout? Is there a way to save out texture maps that chart the foliage density and other characteristics, so the same foliage forest could be created on the same mesh in a different level/project?
Surely it isn’t the case that foliage painting is a dead-end street? What about on landscape tiles? Is there any way to export the foliage layout? Thanks y’all!
