Save Point Data RESET (Score & Gold)

My loadouts loads with no issues, but not the score. it’s really annoying

Hi, should I create a new ticket regarding the not loading inventory or is it also handled in your fix?

I’m having the same issue, some player’s gold got wiped to 0. Island code: 0105-1573-8859

Joining in a game which has already started seems to have a lot of problems with devices, so Epic should please fix these problems so the late joining players do not loose their progress!

Here another known issue by joining games in progress I`m waiting urgently to fix… Stat Creator UI Widget Does Not Show For Players Who Join In Progress

I have the same problem on my map 7595-0595-2161

I am experiencing the exact same issue. When players join private matches, their statistics remain unchanged. However, when they join public matches, all of their data gets completely reset, including their points and player save data.

This issue started occurring after the latest update. I hope it can be fixed as soon as possible, and that all island data from before the update can be restored so that players’ statistics return to how they were previously.

We’ll have to disable your island while we send out a fix. Your players’ lifetime data is extremely important to the game’s longevity, so we’re doing everything we can to ensure it stays intact.

Your game will still be on the recently played list once we enable it. The hope is that players will rejoin, and you’ll notice that reflected on the CCU. Make sure to communicate with your players once it goes live again. We expect the fix to come sometime later today, and we’ll let you know once it’s live.

@butterfly I don’t think your island made it in time for the latest list.

FYI, after reading your message I just entered my map that I mentioned earlier (0159-3576-4769) with my other account for the first time since update to 41.00 and when the world loaded up, I saw that all gold and resources that I had in that account were displayed on the HUD as it usually does when you enter a map. But after a few seconds everything suddenly disappeared, so gold & resources for this other account has also just been reset after entering the map when I was the first player to start a new session, so it was not joining in progress.

I haven’t tested the other maps yet because I was waiting for some feedback.

The issue that caused save data to be reset has been fixed. All islands that were disabled while we worked on restoring affected player have been re-enabled. Some data stored with the stat creator device may still be missing, and the team is working to identify a path to restore that data for affected players. We’ll keep you posted when we have an update.

I’m a bit late to this thread, but we had our stat creator device data wiped as well so I’m just submitting our map for that fix so we don’t miss out! 5808-0772-6145

Neither of my two characters I entered the map 0159-3576-4769 with after update to 41.00 (the first I entered with on the day when v41.00 went live and the second I entered with 15 hours ago) regained their resources they lost. So no fix for me.

I can also confirm that our map has been re-enabled and all lost data has been restored. Everyone has their gold and score back. The downtime unfortunately affected our CCU, but we hope players will return through the recently played tab, like Flak said. Thanks everyone!

I just entered my other 2 maps as the first player to start the session to check it out. I did it with both of my characters independently after some time, so they were not joining in progress.

In the map 0742-4125-4657 it looks OK. But in the map 1037-4302-1527 I again saw all gold & resources showed up on the HUD at the beginning, but after world finished loading, all gold & resources reset to 0 for both of my characters. The difference between these maps is that the one where my character’s resources were not reset has In-Island Transactions and it also doesn’t save gold across sessions, but it saves resource Monster Parts and it was not reset.

So why do gold & resources keep resetting for players entering some maps for the first time after update to v41.00 even now after your statement “The issue that caused save data to be reset has been fixed.”?

It seems that if players who have played the maps in the past and accumulated gold and resources return to the maps, they may simply lose it.

Please, some explanation would be really helpful because this is really scary and discouraging for creating maps where players would also progress by gathering resources. I like all the new features, but they’re useless if something as fundamental as cross-session data saving isn’t working properly.

Unfortunately, my island still has the same issue after it was disabled and then enabled again.

The island code is 7330-3014-2089.

I was hoping the issue would be fixed after the island was re-enabled, but the problem is still happening. The island is still missing player data after the update.

I hope this can be checked again and fixed as soon as possible, because the players’ lifetime data is very important for the island.
