Sales model against game and asset piracy.

EPIC faces the same problems we do though. I’m disappointed with the short and generic “it’s not our problem” but verifying that all assets in an asset pack are original works and not stolen is not an easy process. So what do we do when someone out of nowhere claims damages for our published game uses a stolen sound asset? Ofc no one cares but our wallets so what are the legal options? How do we verify the claim? Are we now hunting a rando EPIC user?
