Rotating the VR Pawn with the motion controller

Hi there, I am using the basic UE4 VR template. I was able to get a tutorial for walking with the left motioncontroller.

I could use help with how to rotate. I was only able to make it strafe. I did the project setting right, it is just the pawnBP. I have zero experience this is just a hobby for me, sorry for the silly question.


In your project settings under Input, add a axis mapping, call it TurnRight, and use motioncontroller (r) thumbstick X, scale 1.0. then in your pawn where you have stored your forward movement, you would have, inputaxis TurnRight - make rotator off the axis value, and input into z(yaw) then add it into delta rotation of AddActorLocationRotation.
