Rotating Particle Emitter On Skeleton?

Hi all,

I’m struggling at the moment to get my particle aligned correctly to my skeleton. Basically, it’s a magic shield that’s meant to appear in the game and it should be aligned with the player’s forearm. Then, when he raises it, the player should be able to see it more fully.
The problem is that no matter which way I rotate the socket, the emitter is stuck at the same angle (facing forward toward the camera and even follows the rotation of the camera. So, how can I make this static and align it to the player’s forearm? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
