The picture shows what happens to the height fog when I use a rift hmd in my game, the height fog is on the players vr character pawn when I hit play, the height fog takes over the players vision completely and sometimes while looking a certain direction on certain maps.
Does anyone know how to make the height fog work correctly on a rift hmd? this does not happen on the htc vive.
Are you saying that you’ve attached a Exponential Height Fog component directly to your HMD camera? If so, try just placing a Height Fog actor into the level (under Visual Effects on the left menu), and see if that solves your issue
ok so I finally manage to fix this issue with razer313’s help, turns out that a decal on my sakura tree blueprint was interfering with the height fog, I changed the fade screen size on the decal to 10000000 instead of 0.01 and the issue was gone, hopefully this saves someone the nightmare I went through trying to find it.
Thanks! We really stuck with this issue. Also we have dissapearing shadows due to decals… All works when we delete decals. And it’s only on Oculus, Vive work fine.
