Try moving your problem Project folder from User/Documents/Fortnite Projects to somewhere else so UEFN can’t see it, then see if you can download the last check in when you open the editor.

I tried it but there is no sync option. I tried do it on different computer as well. All other projects has sync option but this one don’t have any. So unfortunately i don’t know how to fix this.

@Comrad3s_YT it sounds like your .urc folder may have ended up in a bad state potentially due to the power outage

Please try the following:

  • Move your project folder back where it was if you haven’t already.
  • Open your project & ensure you save all changes you’ve made to the project
  • Close UEFN & ensure it is fully closed/background processes complete until “Launch” becomes visible in the Epic Games Launcher rather than “Running”,
  • Navigate to the project folder in which you are receiving the error in your Windows file browser,
  • Move ONLY the .urc folder to your desktop (don’t delete it for now just in case it is needed) so that it is no longer in the project folder,
  • relaunch UEFN,
  • open the project,
  • a new .urc folder will be created and your state should be reset, hopefully unblocking you to check in again
  • once you confirm all is working again you can delete the folder you moved to the desktop

Hello,

I just created a UEFN map, but for the past two days I’ve been trying to publish it. I’m having a problem with Revision Control because I can’t publish it, and even after disabling Revision Control, I still can’t publish it!
Could you please solve this problem ?

@Kewuks can you describe a bit more the problem you’re having as it relates to revision control? Publishing errors are unlikely to be related to revision control, but I’d be happy to take a look.

Sharing the text or image of teh error you’re receiving would be very helpful

@Kewuks i found your post in Discord with the image of your revision control errors. Please try the steps I posted here and let me know if that gets you unblocked to connect to revision control: Revision Control: Failed to load fragment payload - #2 by gxg_work
