Unreal Editor for Fortnite

What Type of Bug are you experiencing?

Unreal Revision Control

Summary

The unreal editor windows process constantly consumes ~12% CPU when i turn unreal revision control on, even whilst idle, walk away, come back 5 minutes later, still consuming ~12% CPU

Turn unreal revision control off and the unreal editor windows process returns to 0% CPU when idle

I can recreate the issue by turning revision control on/off (12% / 0%)

What is it doing with 12% of the CPU when i’m not even using unreal editor?

The highest i’ve seen is 16% but 12% is most common

Steps to Reproduce

Turn on revision control for your map and open Windows task manager to look at the CPU consumption when not interacting with unreal editor

Expected Result

I expect revision control to consume 0% CPU when the unreal editor is idle

Observed Result

Revision control consumes 12% CPU when the unreal editor is idle

Platform(s)

Windows 11
