Revision Control - Checking in often & super slow after Simpson Season Update

We’ve integrated a fix for this issue in the next upcoming editor release - please keep me posted thereafter whether the issue improves for you @Long_Johns42

I’m relieved that this issue will be resolved in 38.11. In my case, after checking in a project where the speed had become dreadfully slow, I had to delete the folder and perform a fresh synchronization. The project then returned to its initial snapshot (Snapshot 1), losing all previous snapshots, but the editor’s speed returned to normal.

@Long_Johns42 checking in whether the lag has improved with today’s release?

@CodeHTGR I’m sorry to hear that, that looks li

ke a different error. For that project could you please try the following steps that I posted here: Unreal Revision Control error: Failed to load fragment payload - #15 by gxg_work

Once you try these steps, can you please let me know how things are performing?

@CodeHTGR can you reach out to me on discord at epic_garrenso i can help more directly?

We’ve had reports that this fix was not successful for all users, so I’ve taken the Fixed label off of this post and we’re continuing to investigate.
