I’ve been searching around on the forum and answer hub for a little bit today and I haven’t been able to find a good result for this question.
I’m looking to implement a way to restrict the field of view on my vr character when it’s moving, similar to what Eagle Flight does when you increase in speed. But in Unreal changing the FOV in the camera isn’t possible or the correct way of doing it.
I’ve thought about doing this with a spherical mesh around the camera and a translucent material that takes up more of the FOV with speed but am not sure if that’s the best solution. Preferably with something that also occludes to save on rendering.
Thanks for any help that you could give.
