Is it possible to restart a niagara sim from within the editor? For example, I have a ribbon emitter thingy, and I want the ribbon to persist, but at some point I would like to restart the simulation- essentially, erase the ribbon and have it spawn again from zero so I can see what’s going on.
another example would be a smoke sim, where i want a lot of smoke- but would also like to see how the smoke spawns and interacts with the environment before there’s so much of it that i cant see anything anymore…
so far the only ways i have found are to either undo (ctrl-Z) something, which restarts the sim, or to make a change to the emitter. both ways are a little clunky…
I have tried to use trigger events in the sequencer, but i cant get it to do… anything… which is another story altogether, I think…
in any case- is there a niagara reset button somewhere?
