Reset Building Edit bug

Summary

Reset building edit seems to lock me within edit/build mode, however I cant build or swap to a weapon. Ive not had this issue until the most recent update. It can be replicated in battle royale, creative, etc.

Steps to Reproduce

Building Edit on F and scroll wheel down. Spam a couple edits and reset quickly.

Im having the same problem snd can’t seem to fix it, is been happening since yesterday when I updated my game.

Same here fellas. Any work around other than waiting for epic to fix it? Has anyone tried to re-download the game or change binds?

I am having the same issue. I am only able to recreate the bug by fighting, and you have to be editing and shooting somewhat quickly for it to happen. I’ve tried multiple maps, I even created a new account to try it out on and it happened on that account as well.

i got the exact same bug, but i ll add that it happened to me in creative and in game ( ranked ) so i hope it will be fixed soon

same. this is frusterating. i cant play the game.

Same issue. My scroll wheel down is set to my shotgun, and when I do it more than one or two notches, I will get stuck between switching to shotgun or builds. Sometimes I will get stuck with my map out and not be able to switch to anything else.

here is footage if u need it. i have found that the bug is recreated whenever fast editing or reset edit with scroll wheel. In addition the bug happens so many time consecutivelysame thing happening to me its so annoying

I have also had this bug happen to me and I am just returning to Fortnite. Very frustrating to deal with and I hope it is placed somewhere near the top of the priority list for fixes as it is quite gamebreaking.

this needs to be fixed asap, cant even play.
