Please could we have further options for the volume device in UEFN.
While the volume device does accept a custom mesh there are limitations one of which that i noticed is with a spline mesh. The issue is that the volume device does not take internal surface area into account so in effect the spline mesh is useless.
Could we please have the device updated to accept the spline mesh and when doing so the device auto updates the player collision on the spline mesh to accept internal area.
Could we also have an option to have an array of the custom mesh and external volume inputs.
This will make it much easier to design and make work more complex designed maps.
For instance with the spline mesh i created 1 big mesh along a tree line as the shape is truly complex and this worked great but the device although does accept the mesh does not then update the collision to accept internal volume.
With an array of custom mesh/external volumes this could be a memory saver as 1 volume could in effect use multiple meshes around a location that all trigger the enter/exit events via verse/device and would make using the device easier as you wouldn’t not need to keep placing devices around a location that are all doing the same thing.
