Reporting bugs and issues through these forums seems useless, no one at epic actually does anything about any of the issues affecting gameplay. Some issues have been going on for months or even longer and they’ve been reported by many different people and they still never get fixed and their basic issues that are pretty simple to fix yet epic decides to do nothing but push out new content, so it seems like they either never see these reported issues or they just chose to do nothing?
it´s very true bro
@OGMoneyMidas Thank you for your feedback. While I cannot guarantee a response, I can confirm that this has been forwarded to the appropriate team.
When you see a message on the bug report like:
“The status of UCB-1062 incident has been moved from ‘Awaiting Validation’ to ‘Needs Triage’.”
That’s a good sign that a bug (with Identifier UCB-1062) exists in the bug tracking database and is on the path of being assigned to an engineer. (Needing Triage means a Producer would need to evaluate its severity/priority)
It’s not quite to the level of the Unreal Engine system, but It’s better than nothing.
The status of UCB-1067 incident has been moved from ‘Needs Triage’ to ‘Closed’. Resolution Reason: ‘Done’
I think having a way to see what was fixed would definitely contribute a lot to improving that impression. I am sure there are a lot of things being fixed silently in the background, but I assume I will never find out if my own reports might have gotten fixed without regularly checking.
Admittedly I’d also like to see fixes and Verse API completion being prioritized over new features, but I understand that that’s not how it works and updates are still mainly targeted at non-Verse users, since they are in the majority.
Nonetheless I wish we’d stop getting devices without full Verse support.
I was just reading through bug reports for the last week and saw this
We do read them but will definitely think about how we can improve visibility into what’s happening. Quite a lot of bugs get fixed but there isn’t yet a mechanism for that info to get communicated back here. (e.g “UCB-1067 is marked as fixed in 28.00”).
Appreciate the reply! A way to communicate back bug fixes and a better way to report them would be a great feature in the future!
