Replays no longer work after turning on creative replays

Summary

Replays get stuck on the connecting screen and essentially freezes and won’t let me press esc to exit the game making me force shut down via task manager.

I shut down my game and PC multiple times, verified files, deleted corrupt game play and some other replays thinking it’s a space issue or corrupted files, and turned creative replays off again and still won’t work.

I can’t report the bug in game because it wants me to take a screenshot of the issue in the report but I can’t access the menu to report the bug when it gets to the connecting screen.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Turn on creative replays
  2. Go into Murder Mystery creative lobby
  3. Stay in lobby long enough to get anything to view in replay
  4. Go to career tab then replays to view replays

Expected Result

View my replays

Observed Result

Get stuck on connecting when trying to view replay, unable to go into the esc tab to go back to lobby or close game forcing you to force quit the game via task manager

I was just about to make a post and found this one. But the problem is still current!

I often have the same problem, and when you manage to get into the replay, the island doesn’t load, and in the past few days everything has just been black. The community reports the same problem regardless of PC or other consoles.

Replays from BR, Reload… don’t cause any problems… only on creative maps

For me i can access the reply sometimes and when i do more than half of the placed assets are not visible.

FORT-1123674 has been ‘Backlogged’. This is an issue that is in a queue to be addressed.
