Summary

Replays fail to download required data 100% of the time for unpublished UEFN projects. This makes it impossible for us to record any gameplay footage to create trailers and marketing materials when publishing the game.

Steps to Reproduce

Play an unpublished UEFN project, using either the private island code or playtest code, then quit and attempt to replay.

Expected Result

Replay plays correctly.

Observed Result

Replay does not play and shows error “Failed to download required replay data”.

This issue makes it impossible for us to record any gameplay footage to create trailers and marketing materials, which blocks us from publishing any games.

The status of UCB-1047 incident has been moved from ‘Awaiting Validation’ to ‘Closed’.

Seeing the same here speaking from the player side. Immediately after the new update replays failed for maps that worked without issues previously. All are also UEFN (so far).

Very frustrating bug, especially with the cadence replays expire. There are a lot of really good replays I don’t want to go to waste. I hope it’s addressed soon!
