Steps to Reproduce
Open the Gun Game project in UEFN.
Generate and upload a private version.
Complete the required memory calculation and wait for private version processing.
Open Creator Portal and create a new public release using the processed private version.
Complete the release information, IARC questionnaire, and required publishing fields.
Submit the release for publication.
The release subsequently fails with a generic submission error.
This has occurred repeatedly since October 25, 2026, including after generating new private versions as instructed by Epic Support.
Expected Result
The successfully processed private version should proceed through public release submission and moderation. If a validation or moderation issue prevents publication, Creator Portal should provide an actionable error or moderation report identifying the cause.
Observed Result
The public release fails repeatedly with the following message:
“Something went wrong during submission. Please try again by creating a new release. If you encounter further problems, please generate a new private version.”
No specific validation failure, moderation explanation, or actionable content review report is provided.
Creating additional private versions and resubmitting has not resolved the issue.

This issue has persisted across multiple public release attempts since October 25, 2026.
We have followed Epic Support’s instructions to generate new private versions, complete memory calculations, and resubmit. Every attempt has resulted in the same generic submission failure.
Latest known private version: 1190-7496-0728.
The island contains no in-island purchases or transactions.
We are aware of the recent In-Island Transactions processing incident and its reported resolution, but this repeated public release failure remains unresolved.
We request investigation of the actual backend publishing failure, including which validation, moderation, or processing stage is failing.
Please provide the underlying error or required corrective action rather than another instruction to generate a new private version, as that procedure has already been attempted repeatedly.
