Rendering issues of "Low Poly Skeleton" in Mobilepreview

Hi, there:
I’ve bought the assets package “Low Poly Skeleton Crew” in UE4’s Marketplace.
It’s a great package.
But there are rendering issues on two skeletons when I review them in MobilePreview.
My UE4’s version is 4.5.1.

The attachment shows the issue.

And I’ve send an email to the content creator, the answer is:
「It looks like it’s due to the shaders being used for the eyes (for the glow) aren’t fully supported for mobile. I’d suggest applying a flat shader to the eyes and maybe logging a support ticket with the UE4 engine team just so they’re aware of the issue.」

I would like to know is this a bug or not?

Best regards.

Hi, Did anyone can explain this issue?

It looks like the UV in MobilePreview is different in the Editor. Isn’t it ?

Hi,

I’ve submitted a bug report with this post linked for this issue (UE-6190). What appears to be happening is that something is happening with the UVs on both these characters. If you remove the textures and only look at the world grid default texture on their you will see that the UVs are being stretched and skewed, but only in when packaged or view for Mobile.

I will update this post any relevant information as the report is updated.

Thank you!

Tim

Hi, I’ve discovered that it is correct on iPad mini 2, so maybe this issue is happened on OpenGLES 2 but not happened on OpenGLES 3?

Thanks for the update! I’ll put this info in the report so that the developer is aware of this as well.

Thank you!

Tim
