Rendering a 90º Panoramic instead of a 360º

Hello, I want to render a Panoramic video to be used in 4 curved screens, so im trying to get it rendered in four 90º videos (front, back, left, right). This way I can control the size and quality better without crashing my PC.

I had been tweaking the Panoramic settings, but the Horizontal and Vertical only changes how big are the tiles.

In case is not possible, well I have to render it in 360º and then split it in the 4 videos.

Hi,

it is a long shot but maybe you could do something with nDisplay. I think for a real-time application you would also use nDisplay to make it work correctly with your setup. So it would make sense to do the video with nDisplay. I have no idea if this is possible at all though.

Edit: In the past I also created 360° images by making 6 shots with a 90° FOV. The software then maps these onto a sphere. Maybe there is a software that can also do this for videos?
It is difficult with Lumen to get consistent lighting for all 6 shots, so this is something I recommend checking first.

Thanks, I will give it a try to both options to see if it works

Update. Thanks @SinnPhilipp for the 6 camera solution ( I havent used yet the nDisplay route)

Im using After Effects to merge the videos. for testing im using a 1024x1024 90º render

In AE I make a comp 4096x3072 (4:3x my render size) and distribute the renders in a cross

Then this COMP i insert it in a new comp and use the Effect VR CONVERTER

Input: Cube-map 4:3

Output: Equirectangular 2:1
