2048 is the in-engine limit, since it’s based on how big the GBuffers can be or something (DanielW will be able to explain it better since this has been asked of him before - just can’t find the post ATM).
Unfortunately making the limit higher had some weird side-effects, so 2K is the upper limit right now!

Can we get some more info on this limitation? It’s certainly hindering quality output for my 360 stereoPano tool.
