render frame jump and broken rig animtions

im working on renders of a character with a rig from Mixamo, and i have two sequencers that work perfectly. However, there is one sequencer where the preview looks fine, but during rendering, the character’s animation goes off track, and frames jump.
i’ve tried baking the animation and the transform keys and also converting the rig to IK, which helped but caused the positions to go out of sync.
